Headteacher’s Welcome – September 2018

Welcome to the Autumn Term at Horspath C of E School.

This term the children will be meteorologists in Beech and Lime, learning about the weather and seasons;   archaeologists in Oak, delving into the Stone Age and geologists in Willow, explaining natural disasters. At the same time, our youngest pupils will be exploring more about themselves, their families and growing up. Keep a look out for the class newsletters with more details about the topic in each class and daily timetables.

Our school values underpin all we do in school and our value until November is Friendship, followed by Respect at the end of November and into December.

Our annual Harvest Festival celebration will take place in October with food donations to Community Emergency Foodbank and then in November we have our annual Friendship Week. The run up to Christmas is always a busy time with our Christmas play and the nativity play performed by Acorn Class.

If you are a prospective parent and would like to find out more about our school please take a look at our latest news pages which should give you a feel for the school and what’s going on this term. If you would like any more information or you would like to visit the school you would be very welcome, please phone the school office on 01865 872702 to arrange a tour.
