Last week, Lime Class went down to the church to see our school artwork on display. We also visited the new Horspath war memorial.
On Friday 9th November we had a visit from The Power of One team who delivered a fantastic anti bullying workshop to the whole school. It was an excellent introduction to our friendship week and taught the children the importance of preventing bullying.
Well done to this week’s children who have been showing exemplary behaviour and earned their hot chocolate and biscuits with Mrs Walters!
We have been learning about the importance of remembrance in Lime Class. Our poppy artwork will be on display in the church.
Lime Class visited Harcourt Arboretum to take part in an “Amazing Autumn” workshop linked with their work on Seasons. The children explored the plants that grow there and also learnt how plants have adapted to their surroundings. The children have been enjoying their weekly Yoga sessions. This week, they used their senses when smelling and touching plants around us at this time of year. The plants were then incorporated into their yoga and mindfulness lesson.
